CEO kami, Dr Hurriyah El Islamy, believes that Islamic finance must go hand in hand with responsible and sustainable investing. The fulfilment of maqasid Shariah requires preservation of life (and hence the earth as we live on it) is observed and not to be put subordinate to the preservation of wealth.

Dr Hurriyah El Islamy will speak on “Long Term Sustainable Investing” in the upcoming ALTSSG2002 that will be held in Marina Bay Sands Singapore on 23 November 2022. The session will cover what adjustments need to be made to meet both financial and ethical goals, and how we measure – and report the findings – to stakeholders.
